Edward J.
Cloutier founded American
Executive Management, Inc. {AEM} in 1977.
His business expertise is derived from assisting top management of many
domestic and international engineering construction companies to improve
their business strategies, markets, and organizations.
Mr. Cloutier’s experience
and extensive worldwide executive contacts have enabled him to provide
vision and valuable strategic business insights. He has been a key
participant in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions,
re-organizations and turnarounds. He is skilled in competitive market
evaluations, strategic planning and organizational restructuring, in
addition to being a leading executive recruiter of top management.
His education includes a
degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, as
well as advanced studies in Contracts Law, Finance, and Business Management
- and he is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Prior to entering the consulting/ engineering
profession, he served as an Officer in the United States Navy.
As a Guest Speaker, Mr.
Cloutier has participated in numerous conferences, including McGraw Hill’s
Annual Leadership Conference, Rice University’s Global EC Forum, University
of Massachusetts Graduating Engineers’ Class, and Exxon Mobil’s Global
Leadership Team.
As one who is often quoted
in the news media, he has also had published many articles dealing with
leadership in international business and the state of several industries
served by AEM.
His firm has conducted over
200 management consulting assignments for over 70 of the World’s leading
engineering & construction organizations involved with oil, gas,
petrochemicals, power, biopharmaceutical, commercial building, industrials
and heavy civil infrastructure.
AEM has had key roles in
the acquisition of several organizations, including such firms as C. F.
Braun, Profimatics, and Tri-Ocean Engineering – in addition to conducting
due diligence reviews of several others
